Animal lovers can eat breakfast with a koala in Sydney, Australia, at Featherdale Animal Park (217-229 Kildare Rd., Doonside, Sydney, NSW 2767; phone +61 2 9622 1644, www.featherdale.com.au). 

Breakfast (fruit, pastries and ham plus coffee or tea) begins at 8:15, before the park opens, and ends at 8:45, and guests will be joined by a koala and a zookeeper, 8:30-8:45. The breakfast, which must be booked at least a day in advance, is offered daily and costs AUD35 (near $26) per person, not including AUD31 for park admission.

At the Museum of Miniatures (Strahovske navdori 11, Prague 1, Czechia; phone +420 233 352 371, www.muzeum miniatur.cz/en), the exhibits all must be viewed with microscopes. 

Using self-made tools, artists have created miniature sculptures so small, each can fit in the eye of a needle or even on the leg of a mosquito. Throughout Japan, balding guests will receive a discount of ¥500 (near $4.50) at any of the 13 hotels of the Hotel Tetora Group. Upon check-in, front desk staff will determine if a patron is balding (shaved heads also count), instituting the discount if he is. The owner of the hotel group, a bald man, himself, said that he decided to create the discount after hearing cleaning staff complaining about the amount of hair they had to clear out of shower drains.
