Written by travelers for other travelers, ITN presents candid, firsthand accounts and appraisals of overseas destinations, tours, cruises, airlines, hotels, etc., to help others in making travel decisions. For publication, content is accepted from subscribers only. When sending a review for publication in the Travelers' Intercom section, keep in mind:
- ITN only covers destinations outside of the United States
- Include your name and town and state of residence.
- Running approximately 300-700 words, the items in the Traveler’s Intercom section are tips and highlights from recent international trips. These include appraisals of tours, cruises, airlines, hotels, tour guides, and destinations as well as travel hiccups that result in advice for fellow travelers. Digital photos of at least 500 KB sent as attachments are welcome for publication consideration.
- This section also informs readers about ways to save money on a trip as well as which places to be sure to see or avoid; the customs one should be aware of in different cultures; appropriate dress; what to pack or leave at home; great gift items found; the best times of year to visit; the best modes of transportation; dates of bank holidays or special festivals; warnings or tips on travel in particular areas, and basically anything that will help someone have the most successful trip.
- Include travel dates, the prices you paid, and the URL for any companies mentioned.
- If you received travel, products, or services for a discount, you must disclose that.
