International Travel News has been an invaluable trip-planning aid for high-frequency travelers since 1976. Published online and printed monthly as a black-and-white newsprint magazine, ITN is unique in that it publishes travel stories and reviews from readers, resulting in trusted travel advice and insights that are carefully curated and fact checked. Submissions from readers are complemented by columns from internationally recognized travel journalists and news stories by the editorial team.
After ceasing publication in April 2022, ITN relaunched under new ownership and management digitally in fall 2026 and will begin a print edition beginning in January 2027.
Covering everything from budget to luxury travel for everyone from independent adventurers to people who enjoy tours and cruises, each issue presents travelers’ experiences, candid evaluations, and advice. Each issue also includes a selection of columns on various travel subjects from a cadre of well-respected travel journalists.
Largely reader written, ITN prints articles and letters from its subscribers. ITN readers look out for each other, warning of travel scams and tourist traps as well as sharing travel tips and recommendations of hotels, restaurants, museums, tours, cruises, etc.
