A subscriber wrote about the pleasant surprise she got when her Kindle, left on a train in Switzerland, was found by other US travelers (April ’13, pg. 55).

My suggestion? Always put your name, business address (not residence) and a phone number on your electronic equipment and cameras so that if they get left behind in a hotel, a lounge on a cruise ship, etc., your odds of getting your equipment returned will increase dramatically.

From experience, I know it works.
