Jordan fuel protests

In Jordan, protests over high fuel costs continued for five days when the government removed fuel subsidies on Nov. 14. Thousands of people marched in demonstrations in cities in all 12 governorates. There were some violent clashes that led to 200 arrests, 70 people injured and one death. Smaller protests, largely peaceful, continued throughout November.
