This is a 4-star luxury guest house with six mini-suites (“superior” rooms) and six standard rooms, each with full bathroom, large sitting area, direct-dial phones, TV and tea/coffee-making equipment. Rooms and public areas are nicely decorated.

Mary and John Curran are excellent hosts and have won numerous awards for their accommodations and especially for their exceptional home-cooked breakfast (included in rate). In addition to a customary full Irish breakfast of eggs, meat or fish, potato, black pudding, fruit, cereals and breads, there are such extras as bread pudding, apple crisp, scones, cake in clotted cream, fresh mushrooms, kippers, French toast, baked banana and much more, served in a conservatory with a great view.

Reservations are a must. Rates in high season (June-September) are €85-€100 ($104-$122) standard room and €125-€140 ($153-$171) superior and in low season, €75-€85 ($92-$104) standard and €95-€125 ($116-$153) superior. (May ’04)
