Morocco tour ‘amazing’

My husband, Gerald, and I took a 2-week humanitarian trip to Morocco with Friendship Force International (Atlanta, GA; 404/522-9490). The “Morocco Cultural Tour,” March 24-April 6, 2013, was organized by Experience It Tours (Springfield Center, NY; 315/858-3426).

The land cost was $2,395, which included 10 nights in hotels, two home-hosted nights and one night in the Berber Cultural Center. Among other activities, we visited a women’s co-op and a school for the deaf.

This trip was just amazing. What made it so wonderful was our tour guide, Ali Alami. I have been on several tours, and Ali is the best guide we have ever had. We appreciated the professional way he took care of meals, money and bargaining and that he was always available for any need. 

Ali has a marvelous sense of humor and a wealth of information. We enjoyed our Moroccan experience. Should you choose to visit this incredible country of many contrasts, we highly recommend Experience It Tours and Ali.
