<p>Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced apartment in Central London for one person, in a quiet area but near an underground station. </p>

College alumni magazines often have private apartments in good locations for rent. Venere.com also has hotel alternate choices online. As well as those "home stay" and house trade websites.
