I'm thinking of using public transporation on our fourth trip to New Zealand since my husband and I are getting nervous about our driving abilities. Is it relatively easy to get around? Has anyone had experience trying to hire a driver? I assume that means you need to pay for that person's accommodations as well as a fee. Thanks.
