Senior couple planning to travel in Europe for two months in the Spring 2014. Do you know of companies that run tours to Italy, Turkey and Greece? We're interested in scenery (not just cities and museums) and would like recommendations of reputable tour companies to use.

We would like to travel inland to various regions and not just stay on the coast. We are not comfortable traveling independently and would prefer someone else do the driving. Bus tours are okay if they have interesting itineraries.

We would like to finish our vacation with a week long stay in Malta. Do you have any recommendations about accommodations and restaurants? Do you have know of a good local guide for day-trips?

Any company names, advice or tips will be appreciated.

The New York Times Travel section just had a great feature on Malta:http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/08/travel/beneath-maltas-beauty-a-tangled... spent a week in Malta a few years ago and had an excellent local guide. Cloe Mifsud is an American living in Malta, where her father was born. She has been there for over 25 years and has a company, Goddess Tours to Malta. She is an excellent guide and a very nice person. Her specialties are history, archaeology, spirituality and textiles (Malta is well-known for its beautiful lace). http://www.goddesstourstomalta.comemail: info@goddesstourstomalta.com
