I would appreciate feedback on airport transfer services between Prat airport and my city center hotel. I am arriving late in the evening and need to go directly to my hotel. It seems that the bus only goes to a stop in the city center and not to hotels. Also has anyone booked tours after arriving? I usually do this but everything I see for "skip the line" tours online wants you to pick a date for your tour in advance. I am willing to buy passes in advance and pick a day when I get there. However, I don't want to miss getting into selected sights or waiting a long time to do so. Please help me out. :)

It might be best contact your hotel as they might offer a shuttle service. If not, they can advise you on what a taxi will cost. I was there last year and remember the taxi from the airport to my hotel in in center city being about 25 euro. As for tours, you can book them thru viator.com - or use that site to see the kind of tours available then book when you get at to your hotel as often this includes a hotel pick-up and drop off (this is what I do). Another alternative is to find your way to the well-run tourist office at Plaza Catalunya. Busses for their tours leave from this plaza. For some sites, like Casa Mila (important Gaudi site), there is a walk-up VIP service that skips the general admission line. It costs a bit extra, but you use a express elevator to get to the roof, and they also give you a small book about Gaudi and his architecture. Other popular sites may have this service too.

Barcelona is always ideal for photographers. A lot of people are using 360 video camera to capture a wider scene.
