Apartment in London?

❮ Back To Message Board
My husband and I seek specific recommendations for renting an apartment a couple weeks in London Spring 2013. We are novices with apartment rentals and, after reading about VRBO.com and Homeaway.com, we'd like to hear specific suggestions from anyone who has had positive experiences renting an apartment in London. We'd prefer the location near a tube station, in a 'safe' area, and comfortable. Where did you stay? Who did you arrange your apartment through? What advice can you offer? Your suggestions are appreciated.

I have friends who have rented from www.londonperfect.com and have been happy with them. They have another website-www.parispertect.com for their Paris rentals. The sites are interesting in themselves and give you a lot of additional information on the city.

We have twice stayed at: Citadines Apart'hotel Holborn/Covent Garden (217910), London, 94-99 High Holborn, London, WC1V 6LF Phone: +442073958800

This is an apartment hotel that has breakfast. It is not like staying in a private dwelling but is very nice, right across the street from a tube station and walkable to the British Museum, Covent Garden, the West End, etc.
