Romanov Themed Tour of Russia

<p>Are there tours of Russia that cover places that played an important role in the lives and death of the Czars ? I could not find any on the internet. Any ideas of how one could put together a tour if none are offered ? </p>

A google search of "Romanov Tour of Russia" comes up with one at http://www.onthegotours.com/Russia/Tours/Route-of-the-Romanovs. It has frequent departures (every Tuesday). I have no familiarity with the tour company.

I was just looking at a brochure from Betchart Expeditions (www.betchartexpeditions.com 800-252-4910) and they list a "Journey of the Czars" from Aug 23 - Sept 9,2011. I haven't traveled with this company, but they have been favorably mentioned before on this board and in ITN Magazine.
