My wife and I will be arriving into Athens airport at about 11:00 PM on 23 August 2012, and do not want to risk the subway or a taxi. Can anyone recommend a reliable driver to carry two people and a few pieces of luggage to a hotel very near to the Acropolis? Thanks!

We used George's taxi service, http://www.taxigreece.com/ he met us at the airport and then to the Plaka very near the Acropolis, we were doing an overnight to connect to a cruise. We used him 2 days later to take us to the port. He is very good and prompt.

Oh yeah right, I have also used TaxiGreece service when I went to Athens. They are pretty reliable and cab drivers are friendly too. I went there last summer and was lucky enough to have availed of that service.
