Rome guide highly recommended

Four of us (my wife, Lanette, and I along with our daughter, Charlotte, and her husband, Andre) spent Thanksgiving week, Nov. 20-28, 2021, in Rome, Italy, on an enjoyable family vacation. Prior to going, we arranged two private tours with Francesca Caruso (email francescainroma@gmail.com or visit
francescacaruso.com)
.

We selected Francesca based on a recommendation we saw from Fred Kranz (April ’13, pg. 26) in one of our old copies of ITN. (Thanks, Fred!)

Francesca gave us a 4-hour tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum one day and a 4-hour tour of the Vatican and St. Peter’s two days later. These two tours were (unanimously) the highlights of our trip!

Francesca is an outstanding guide! She is extremely knowledgeable, personable, accommodating and responsive. We’ve used many private guides in our travels over the past 40 years, and Francesca is in the top 5%.

She charged us a very reasonable €60 (near $68) per hour plus the cost of museum entry.
