Deadly storm hits Central America

Hurricane Eta made landfall on the east coast of Central America Nov. 3. It first struck Nicaragua as a Category 4 hurricane, with winds of over 140 mph, weakening to a tropical storm before hitting Guatemala, where torrential rains caused a landslide that killed at least 50 people. Throughout the region, nearly 200 people were believed to have been killed, most in Guatemala.
