Private tour of Mallorca

We took a 4-hour private tour of Mallorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands, through Nofrills Excursions (Avenida de la Playa, 13 Bajos, 07410 Alcudia, Baleares, Spain; phone +34 971 897 06767, www.nofrills-excursions.com) in July 2019.

Our tour guide, Melanie, and our driver, Francisco, were excellent. Melanie had an excellent knowledge of the island, and, with a wonderful sense of humor, she was a pleasure to spend time with. Francisco was a patient, careful driver, especially on narrow, winding roads.

The tour took us to beautiful little towns and spectacular scenes of beaches surrounded by mountains and cliffs.

The name of the tour, which we found and booked through Viator.com, was “Palma de Mallorca Shore Excursion: Private Tour of Palma, Deia and Soller Valley.” It cost $600 for four of us. (The per-person price would go down with a bigger group.)

The price included taxes, fees and handling charges; driver and guide; port pickup and drop-off; transport in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, and an excursion guarantee. Food, drinks and gratuities were not included.

We highly recommend this tour company and its staff for anyone traveling to Mallorca.
