My parents and I traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark, Sept. 11-17, 2018. Travel Consultant Emma Woodward of Goway Travel (Glendale, CA; 800/387-8850, www.goway.com) arranged our flights, airport transfers, hotel and two day trips, leaving us with 3½ days to see the sites of Copenhagen on our own.

The Danish crown jewels at Rosenborg Castle were on our list of "must sees." When I accessed the Rosenborg Castle's website (www.kongernessamling.dk/en), I discovered the Parkmuseerne ticket, which allows the user one admission to each of six sites in the city and is valid for one year from the activation date.

The ticket provides admission to Rosenborg Castle, four museums and ordinary film screenings at The Cinematheque. All sites are in or around the King's Garden, which was within easy walking distance of our hotel, the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel (Toldbodgade 24-28; phone +45 33 74 14 14, www.admiralhotel.dk/en), overlooking one of the city's many canals.

We visited all of the sites except for The Cinematheque. I had fun collecting stamps on my visitor ticket! I especially enjoyed the Middle Eastern carpets at The David Collection, and, yes, the crown jewels were stunning.

The Parkmuseerne ticket can be purchased online (parkmuseerne.dk/en) or at any of the included sites in Copenhagen. We purchased three tickets from the Rosenborg Castle website for DKK195 (near $30) each plus DKK130 for shipping. The tickets and an information pamphlet arrived in the mail about one week after purchase.

This was our second city-stay vacation arranged by Emma. She provided helpful itinerary suggestions and worked with us until we agreed on the arrangements. We had a wonderful and stress-free vacation.
