Opened in Zürich on Feb. 28, the FIFA World Football Museum (Seestrasse 27, 8002 Zürich, Switzerland; phone +41 43 388 25 00, www.fifamuseum.com) explores the history of soccer and how the sport and FIFA, its international governing body, have changed. 

Along with cafés, the 32,300- square-foot museum has 500 videos and 1,000 exhibits, including jerseys from all 211 national teams in FIFA, artifacts from each World Cup since the first in 1930 and even the World Cup trophy, itself. Open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tues.-Sat. and 9-6 Sun. Closed Mon. Entry, CHF24 (near $25).
