Fast Skytree Ticket

With the new Fast Skytree Ticket, a visitor to the 2,080-foot-tall Tokyo Skytree (1 Chome-1-2 Oshiage, Sumida, Tokyo 131-0045, Japan; phone +81 570 550 634, www.tokyo-skytree.jp/en) who is a nonresident of Japan now can bypass the line to the elevator to the building’s viewing Tembo Deck, 1,148 feet up. The Skytree is the world’s hightest freestanding broadcast tower.

To purchase a ticket, the visitor must present his passport or other ID at the ticket counter inside the west entrance on the fourth floor. The Tembo Deck is open 8 a.m.-10 p.m. A ticket costs ¥2,820 (near $23), age 18 and up; ¥2,260, age 12-17; ¥1,580, age 6-11, and ¥1,240, age 4-5.
