Guide in Bavaria

I had the most wonderful experience in May ’13 traveling in Bavaria, Germany, with Mr. Ernst Gartner (Eisvogelweg 35, 81827 München, Germany; phone +49 176 23898956 or email saseg-reisen@gmx.de). I had seen his classified ad in ITN’s Mart section.

Because I have mobility problems, I hired a guide. I contacted Mr. Gartner about 45 days before my trip and arranged to be picked up in Gunzenhausen, a small town in Bavaria. I paid him $200 for about six hours of his guide services.

Instead of taking the Autobahn, Mr. Gartner drove us through small towns such as Ellingen, Weissenburg and Ingolstadt, stopping so I could take pictures of castles and churches. He walked me to the Lufthansa counter in Munich and made sure a wheelchair was ready for me.

Fluent in both German and English, Mr. Gartner is friendly, knowledgeable and a joy to ride with. He has my unconditional trust and referral support.
