Self guided European tour

Two seniors, ages 69, are doing their bucket list. Would like advice on doing a self tour of Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France. Leaving from USA.

Except for the Netherlands, my husband and I have self-toured all these areas but not in one trip. This is an ambitious agenda you describe. How much time do you intend to spend in each country?
