London Lodging

My wife and I are looking for a B&B with Micro and small Fridge in London from 4 thru 13 Nov. 2013

I've stayed at the Citadines Apartment-Hotel in South Kensington, found the location good and liked having a kitchenette stocked with china, silverware, and pots/pans. The Citadines group has five apartment-hotels around london as well as two hotels. You would want to select a property that is close to a tube station. www.citadines.com

It sounds like what you need is an apartment. A B&B serves breakfast, it doesn't expect you to self-cater and is very unlikely to offer a microwave. Besides Citadines there are a number of agencies renting short-stay apartments in London.

On May 3, 2013 my husband and I along with another couple will leave the cruise ship and then head to London for four days. I need assistance with the following:
1. Best method of transportation into London that is not expensive
2. We will leave the ship early morning. Can you recommend day trips with a drop off in London late afternoon.
3. We will depart for the US at Heathrow. Can we manage a large piece of luggage usig the Tube from the downtown hotel to Heathrow. We will be staying at the Marriott Marble Arch.
4. This is our first time in London and we would welcome an suggestions you can share about what we could do that is not "the usual tourist" experience.
Thank you so much.

You might look at THINK/Earls Court Hotel/apartment www.think-apartments.com I have stayed in a one bedroom unit which is rather spare and modern but has a nice sitting room with a kitchen and even a washer/dryer, and quite close to the Earls court underground which serves many lines.
