hotels in london

I am looking for hotels in London for a trip next spring. I am looking in the $100-$200 a night range. I would like to have close access to a tube stop. It would be nice to be near a park. thanks

We have stayed at the Jesmond Dene 7 times in the last 6 years. It is a small B and B, only about 2 blocks from the tube stop at King's Cross. (You can take the Picadilly line from Heathrow to King's Cross. St. Pancras--which has rail services-- is adjacent to King's Cross.) Most rooms have private bath. The rooms are small but have been nicely updated since we first stayed there. The rate also includes a full English breakfast. The staff there are very helpful. There is a park (Berkeley Square)within walking ditance from the hotel and there is also another park at Russell Square, a somewhat longer walk. The British Library is a few blocks down Euston Road and you can also walk to the British Museum.

We really like Ted Phillip's apartment in Chelsea. It is near a small park, and easy transportation. The address 6 Tite Street, Chelsea. The rate is $140.00 per night for 2 persons. They have a wi fi connection and a computer is supplied in the apartment so that you can stay in touch. E-mail them at WonderfulChelsea@aol.com and they can send you some photos.
