We have traveled with Gate 1 many times and have been pleased with their tours and especially their tour directors in various destinations around the world. We are interested in their 12 Day Bulgaria, Serbia & Romania tour for, hopefully, May or June 2021 and would be interested in hearing feedback if you have been on this particular tour. Thanks, Amy

We loved this tour done in June of 2014. Followed 5 days of private visit via Gate 1 to Warsaw and Krakow. Radisson Blu Hotel in Sofia central for Cathedral and National Assembly. Recommend optional bus trip to Rila Monastery. Great history throughout in a region most Americans haven't visited. 1906 Hotel Moscow in Belgrade an Austro-Hungarian gem. My husband and I toured an old car museum on a free afternoon, if you have an interest. Tito's Cadillac and wife's BMW in the small collection . Border crossings uneventful usually, but some delay between Serbia and Romania, as Serbia non-EU....Hotels modern and food ample, though heavier than in other countries.....sausages, etc...Trip covered fortresses, collective farms of the Communist era, castles, churches. The Village Museum in Bucharest was a pleasant end to one of our favorite trips. We agree that Gate 1 does a great job for a reasonable price! Thank you for your valuable information and suggestions. I am trying to plan ahead even though no one knows when international travel will resume.

Thank you, Ramseysmom for the valuable information on the Balkan Tour.
As I think I am ready to plan travel again I have another idea in addition to this one.
I will post that shortly.
Thanks, Amy
