Dolomites

<p>Preliminary fact-finding&rsquo;s underway for what we hope will result in a Sept. or Oct., 2014 trip to Italy including a 4-5 day stay in the Dolomites. Although we&rsquo;re a little rusty in charting out a budget-conscious&nbsp;independent European trip, this could&nbsp;join&nbsp;a long series for us going back to the 70s. Any and all info &amp; personal experiences would be gratefully received, from where to hub in <em>South Tyrol&nbsp;</em>to small hotel-guest house suggestions.
