We are taking a 25 day cruise of Australia, New Zealand and South Sea Islands leaving March 29. We are interested in any tour companies or sights of interest. We will be in the following ports: Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Dunedin, Akaroa, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland, Bay of Islands, Nuku'alofa Tonga, Rarotonga, Bora Bora, Moorea, and Papeete. For your Australian destinations, I suggest you check the website of APT--Australian Pacific Touring--at www.aptouring.com.au. APT is one of the two major coach tour operators in Australia and they offer a variety of city and day tours. Using them would be one way to use your time efficiently and see the highlights. You can book their tours online in advance. For Sydney, though, leave time for a harbor cruise. The roundtrip ferry to Taronga or Manly would be good options.
