Has anyone made the cruise from Manaus, Brazil to Fl Lauderdale, Florida? How would you rate this trip. Partner and I have been thinking of making this trip.

You don't mention which cruise line you are considering. My husband and I did Oceania's cruise last winter which was roundtrip from Miami and up the Amazon as far as Manaus and back. We quite enjoyed the cruise and had, if I remember, 5 port stops on the Amazon itself. You might check the Cruise Critic website for reviews of past cruises as I imagine the experience may differ with each cruise line and itinerary.
We did run into a few issues last year because of the ongoing drought there. The river levels were quite low and some boat excursions could not go up river as far as they might normally.
I have read that in the past folk doing the cruise one-way either from or to Manaus had to deal with unreliable flights. I don't know if this is still an issue.
If you want to avoid the big cruise ship experience entirely, there are companies that offer small ship Amazon cruises further up river.
