Several friends and I traveled through the Canal on the Wilhelm Tham in 1994. The cabins on the boat are quite small, BUT the food was wonderful. This adventure provided the opportunity to get off at many places along the Canal, to hike, walk ride bicycles, sightsee, etc. It was very relaxing with many chances to really see life along the Canal. Floating through the stairsteps of locks was most exciting. We all agreed that we would take this trip again sometime.
