Print Ad Submission Guidelines


If you are unable to submit an ad electronically, we can convert your camera-ready work for a fee. We also offer typesetting services. Please contact Helen at 916/457-3643 or email for assistance in preparing your ad.

Files must be submitted in EPS or PDF file format. We can usually convert the following formats for an Apple Mac: Adobe PageMaker 5.0-6.5 native format, Adobe Illustrator 8 native format, Quark (saved as EPS). Please remember to include fonts and links.

We accept files in either RGB or Grayscale. If you use MS Word to design your ad, we can accept your layout only if it is the correct size (text only), exclusive of photos and graphics, and exactly as you wish it to appear.

Any ads we create or revise will be subject to charges we incur in preparing the ad. If you need to make changes to your ad, a $15 minimum fee will be charged each time we open the ad, along with possible additional costs, depending on the complexity of the changes.

Files up to 15MB can be sent via email attachment to Please indicate the advertiser’s name in the subject line. Files can be compressed using a program like WinZip or StuffIt. Please outline all fonts, even if embedded in a PDF.


Please include all pertinent files on a CD. On the outside of the disk, please mark clearly the platform and the file format. Send to: Advertising, ITN 2116 28th Street, Sacramento, CA 95818 USA.

Ads should be booked at least two months before the issue in which they will appear. For example, ad space reservations for the January issue should be made by November 1, and artwork would need to be submitted by November 5.

In the event of any error on the part of International Travel News, your ad will be republished correctly in the following issue, without any additional charges.
