Rome multisite ticket

This item appears on page 4 of the August 2018 issue.

Visitors to Rome can purchase a S.U.P.E.R. (Seven Unique Places to Experience in Rome) ticket that allows entry to seven sites around the Colosseum: the Criptoportico Neroniano, the Palentine Museum, House of Emperor Augustus, House of Livia, the Aula Isiaca, the Temple of Romulus and the Santa Maria Antiqua.

The houses of Emperor Augustus and Livia are opening to the public for the first time and, at press time, could be visited only with the S.U.P.E.R. ticket, which is valid over two consecutive days and also includes one entry to the Colosseum and one entry per day to the Forum.

Only the houses of Emperor Augustus and Livia can be booked in advance. At each other site, entry is based on time of arrival and there are visit time limits.

The ticket costs €18 (near $21). (In comparison, booking a ticket only for the Colosseum costs €12.) For advance purchase, visit www.coopculture.it/en/events.cfm?id=854.
