Could go for a Big Gulp

Several decades ago, on my first trip to Italy, I fell in love with the coffee. But the tiny cups containing about three ounces of coffee never satisfied me.

One late afternoon after a day of sightseeing, I stopped at a café for my much-loved coffee. 

“Please,” I begged, “a large cup.”

I was delighted to see a large coffee cup being brought to my table… until I looked in it and saw the three ounces of coffee it contained.
