There are several ways in which you can locate an article.
Use the SEARCH BOX
(at the top of each page):
1. Search for a specific title — Enter the name of the article in the Search Box with quotations around the title. For example, “Lithuania — a Homecoming”.
2. Search using a “keyword” — This works best when the keyword is a specific name. For example, “Budapest”.
If you type in a very general word (for example, “hotels”), you can get hundreds of results, which makes it difficult to locate a specific article.
Use the TAG WORDS
1. Browse using a “tag” — Clicking on a highlighted word in the text of an article will bring up other articles on the same topic.
Use the ARCHIVE page
1. You can find articles grouped by continent and/or country by using the interactive map.
2. You can search for an article published in a specific issue by choosing the date of publication.
3. You can find an article in a section of the magazine shown in the Table of Contents. For example, “Boarding Pass” or “ITN Report Cards.”
Use the ITN REFERENCE INDEX
1. You can print out a PDF file of any of the annual indexes of articles, letters and news items printed in ITN. Actual titles or brief descriptions are listed along with the issue dates and page numbers. For those who keep paper copies of old issues of ITN, this can be a quick way to find articles.
