Testimonials and trust are nice, but knowledge is better. I just purchased a policy through Dan Drennan, because of a trip I'm taking for which I wanted some coverages and limits not found in standard policies. At first, the salesperson with whom I spoke, offered me a policy at a certain price. I felt the price a bit too pricey, and I asked him to check the policies of certain other companies with which I was familiar, to see if they wavered their policy to give me the coverages and terms I wanted. Sure enough, he found one several hundred dollars below the cost of the policy that was originally quoted, and I bought it. Do not misinterpret my comments; I cannot recommend him more highly. It's convenient dealing with one agent who can compare the policies all at once, as opposed to going through each individual company yourself. And you won't get a better price if you do it yourself; agents always will be the same. I just post this comment so that others may know that while Dan Drennan is indeed a quality agency, it pays to have some kind of a background yourself.
