<p>I will be spending 4 days in Riga and Latvia in mid-July. I am looking for a tour company or guide with whom I can take day trips outside of Riga. All the tour companies I have contacted say they have no trips available.</p>

There are also free walking tours of Riga: Riga Free Tours: http://freetour.traveller.ee/?page_id=5&lang=ri I've done several of the free walking tours in Europe tours and guides work for tips. They are usually fine and a 5-10 euro tip is about right.
