From the March 2006 issue.
On a trip to SCOTLAND in November ’05 we stayed at the Schoolhouse B&B (Caroline St. Dornie; phone 01599 555 482 or e-mail leigh [at] eilan [dot] freeserve [dot] co [dot] uk).
This is a recently renovated former schoolhouse with four individual rooms to accommodate twin, double and families. The double room, with a large walk-in shower, is designed for disabled visitors. £40 ($69) per night, double, with facilities en suite.
Swedish-design IKEA® furnishings in rooms and kitchen. The kitchen is large with gas hobs, refrigerator, utensils and tables plus a view up the mountain. Internet access available.
It’s a 10 out of 10. We’ll be back.
Dornie is a gateway to Isle of Skye.
